The visionaries behind The Home for Orphan Students.

The Home for Orphan Students (THOS), established on June 6, 1996, was born out of a deep commitment to social responsibility by individuals who personally experienced the challenges of orphan life.

Mr. Silumula Baburao

Mr. Silumula Baburao

Founding Member
Mr. Silumula Baburao is a distinguished professional with a career spanning over four decades in industrial leadership and academia. After earning his B.Tech from JNTU Hyderabad and pursuing M.E. and MBA degrees at Osmania University, he dedicated 33 years to Hindustan Cables Ltd., where he retired as Deputy General Manager (Unit Head) in 2015. He subsequently transitioned into education, serving as a Senior Professor at Malla Reddy Engineering College for Women until 2024, where he became a respected mentor known for his counseling and motivational skills.Driven by gratitude for the societal support he received during his own education, he has long been a dedicated advocate for The Home for Orphan Students (THOS).

Mr. Gatla Sudhakar Reddy

Mr. Gatla Sudhakar Reddy

Mr. Gatla Sudhakar Reddy is a dedicated leader and industrialist with a deep commitment to social service. A graduate with a Licentiate in Mechanical Engineering, he led a successful career as the head of Lakshmi Engineering Works, specializing in the manufacture of electrical control panels. His professional expertise and disciplined leadership have been instrumental to the growth of The Home for Orphan Students (THOS) for over 22 years. Under his guidance, the organization became a nurturing institution for underprivileged children, focused on high standards of governance and student care.

Mr. Baireddy Satyanarayana Reddy

Mr. Satyanarayana Reddy

Born in 1956, Mr. Baireddy Satyanarayana Reddy is a dedicated leader committed to empowering underprivileged children through The Home for Orphan Students (THOS). With a Master’s in Economics and a professional background in national banking, he has applied his financial and administrative expertise to ensure the organization's long-term sustainability. His commitment is deeply personal, rooted in his own experience as a former student of Anatha Vidyarthi Gruha (A.V.G). For decades, he has been a central figure in managing THOS, focusing on holistic student care and creating paths to education and employment for those in need.

Mr. Aavuti Vishwanatham

Mr. Aavuti Vishwanatham

Founding Member
Mr. Aavuti Vishwanatham, born in 1958 in Tandur, is a dedicated leader committed to the welfare of underprivileged children. Coming from a humble background, he was inspired by the support he received during his early technical training at Anatha Vidyarthi Griha (AVG), which sparked a lifelong mission to give back to society. Professionally, he built an esteemed career at NFC, Hyderabad, starting in 1979 and retiring in 2018 as Scientific Officer – D. Since 1996, he has been a driving force behind the growth of The Home for Orphan Students (THOS), focusing his efforts on mentoring students, fostering discipline, and introducing essential life skills like yoga and vocational training.

Founding Member
A retired Professor from Osmania University and has been a pillar of support for THOS, bringing academic excellence and a dedicated spirit to the mission. His contributions have helped shape the educational standards and the supportive environment provided to the students.
